The site sits on a steel incline with trees at the top of the slope exposed to prevailing winds, increasing the risk of further failures.

Following the removal of the fallen tree, it became clear that some of the surrounding trees were no longer stable. With the canopy altered and the natural shelter lost, the remaining trees were now subject to new wind conditions, raising concerns about their structural integrity. Due to the steep slope and poor weather conditions on the day, the work required extra care, particularly as climbing the smooth, rain-soaked Sycamore bark added further challenges for our arborists.
